Prairie Island
Family Services
Our Partners
This project is a true partnership between the Prairie Island Indian Community, Goodhue County, the City of Red Wing, and Red Wing Arts, each playing a crucial role in its success. This partnership ensures that decisions are made collectively, reflecting the needs and aspirations of the Dakota people and our community.
We ensure that all partners have an equal stake in the project’s success. Our cultural events and planning committees include representatives from Prairie Island Indian Community, Red Wing Arts, local government, and other community organizations, ensuring diverse input and shared responsibility. We pursue innovative solutions with our partners that leverage each organization's unique strengths.
We maximize the use of existing resources and assets creatively to address community problems. When developing cultural events, we utilize local venues, volunteer networks, and community talents, enhancing community involvement.
