Hike and Harvest Naturescape Centerpiece Craft

Learn more about Indigenous arts and crafts and how art can be infused into all lifeways.

Join Prairie Island community members Christy Childs, Carol Woodard, and Seanna Willgrubs to learn about natural materials, such as pine, cedar, rose hips, birch, and cansasa willow, and how to incorporate them into your everyday environment.

Natural materials gathered at the Winter Carnival Hike and Harvest will be used to create a naturescape centerpiece to be taken home.

6 - 6:15 pm - Welcome and acknowledgment of Martin Luther King Day

6:15 - 6:30 pm - Thrive Unltd Presentation

6:30 - 8 pm - Create Naturescape Centerpiece to take home.
