The Honoring Dakota Project continues our Community Engagement Sessions with online facilitated conversations. These sessions will provide a space to learn more about our shared history to help foster understanding and healing.
Format:
Jeremy & Collins Fields of Thrive Unltd and Prairie Island Indian Community Educators and Culture Bearers will facilitate these conversations. Participants will be provided with short videos to watch before and during the session.

Each session discussion will be focused on specific episodes, which will be played during the discussion; prior viewing is not required. Viewing additional episodes outside the session is encouraged. Consider these questions while watching the videos to be discussed during the session:

It’s a mix of historical information & contemporary stories & is designed to build a better understanding of historical interpretation & encourage critical thinking.
