Online Community Conversations
The Honoring Dakota Project Online Community Conversations provide a dynamic digital space for individuals to engage in meaningful dialogue about the Dakota people's rich cultural heritage and contemporary relative subject matter. These conversations are led by Dakota leaders and knowledge-keepers who share their experiences and expertise. They aim to create an inclusive platform for education, storytelling, and cultural exchange, extending the project's reach beyond physical gatherings to a broader audience.
Participants are encouraged to ask questions, share their perspectives, and engage in respectful dialogue, fostering an environment of mutual respect and understanding. This format allows for a diverse range of voices to be heard, contributing to a richer and more comprehensive discourse.
““The Honoring Dakota Project has done a really good job at erasing the fear of not knowing the culture and has allowed people to feel comfortable asking questions and being willing to learn.””
